Meet Dr. Yuejuan Bian, DAcCHM, TCMD, L.Ac.

Dr. Bian earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, one of the leading institutions for medical training and clinical research. After years of practicing both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in a hospital setting, she moved to Minnesota in 2013, where she served for more than twelve years as a professor and acupuncturist at the American Academy of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and at TCM Health Center. She is widely recognized and appreciated for her clinical skill, compassionate care, and dedication to patient well-being.
With nearly 20 years of clinical experience in both China and the United States, Dr. Bian is committed to healing through continuous learning, ensuring every patient receives effective, evidence-informed, and truly personalized care.
She is completing her Professional Doctorate (Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, DAcCHM) from the University of East-West Medicine in California, strengthening her clinical foundation with modern scientific knowledge and advanced therapeutic strategies.
Dr.Bian is the only professional practitioner in the United States trained to deliver Zhou’s Six-Tier Acupuncture, a highly specialized and lineage-based acupuncture system used to address complex and chronic health conditions. She trained directly under Dr. Lei Zhou, 5th-generation inheritor of Zhou’s Six-Tier Acupuncture, and is honored to serve as the 6th-generation professional practitioner in the United States. Her approach uniquely integrates U.S. sterile acupuncture standards, advanced clinical techniques, and nearly two decades of international practice, delivering treatment with precision, safety, and consistently reliable therapeutic outcomes.
